            How Energy Healing Supports Sleep

            Intuitive Energy Healing (including Reiki  and Sound Healing ) relaxes the body, quiets the mind, and supports your natural healing response.             Why Stress Hurts Sleep

            Clients ask, “Why is it harder to sleep? “What is causing my nightmares, and what can I do about it?” Stress, anxiety, and low mood can start a hard cycle: poor sleep raises stress the next day, which makes it even harder to sleep at night. Research shows a two-way link between insomnia and stress and anxiety/depression. Calming the nervous system can break this loop. PMC

            Look at your daytime habits of excess caffeine, medications, sleep routine, and physical health, which may also play a role. Read Is your insomnia a physical issue? and talk with your doctor.

            7 Simple Steps to Better Sleep (Radiant You Style)

            1. Be kind and give yourself total self-acceptance. Sleeplessness is temporary. Your body knows how to sleep.
            2. Set a clear intention. “Tonight I rest deeply and wake at [time] feeling refreshed.”
            3. Create a wind-down ritual (20–30 min). Dim lights. Light stretch or gentle music. Keep phones and iPads out of bed. Establish a boundary that the bed is for sleep and sex—not thinking or using a blue screen.
            4. Give yourself Reiki, Energy Healing, a try a short meditation. Hands on heart/belly; notice breath.
            5. Breathe to relax. Alternate-nostril or slow nasal breathing can steady the nervous system and support sleep. PMC
            6. Clear the day. Journal worries; imagine putting them in a mental “vault” until morning.
            7. Hug hold for safety. Cross your arms to gently hug yourself for a minute while breathing slowly. A simple hug for 20 seconds raises your oxytocin and reduces stress chemicals.

            Health note: If you snore loudly, stop breathing during sleep, or suspect a medical issue, talk with your doctor first.

            Give yourself Energy Healing

            1. Give yourself Reiki or Energy Healing.
            2. Breathe deeply. Visualize Universal Life Force Energy filling you.
            3. Ask and visualize yourself being hooked up to energy circuits that heal your energetic system.
            4. Pray or meditate. Turn over anything that troubles you to the Higher Power. I often visualize putting your concerns into God’s vault for the night. You decide in the morning whether you retrieve the negative thoughts and feelings. Ask that sleep is peaceful, restorative, and rejuvenative. Ask to be taking to the Sleep Healing Chamber if you are feeling stressed.
            5. Call in the Sleep Angels to hold sacred space. If asked, they clear and make the bedroom a Sleep Healing Chamber. They calm the mental and emotional. They reconnect you to your Higher Power.

            If You Wake in the Night

            • Stretch your body.
            • Pray. Ask the Sleep Angels for help.
            • Pause & breathe. 3–5 minutes of slow, deep breathing (in 4–5 seconds, out 5–6 seconds) or alternate nostril breathing to balance the right and left brain.
            • Body scan. Relax face → jaw → shoulders → belly → legs.
            • Sip water, feel your senses. Notice sheets on skin, sounds in the room.
            • Gentle self-Reiki. Hands over heart or belly; invite calm.
            • Still awake after ~20 minutes? Get up briefly and do a quiet, low-light activity (no phone), then return to bed.

            • Stick to a regular sleep and wake time.
            • Get morning daylight; move your body during the day.
            • Limit caffeine after noon; avoid heavy meals and screens before bed.
